TALDRIS / OPERATIONAL INTELLIGENCE

Know what happens after a decision.

When a contract changes or work moves to another team, important details can be missed. Taldris explores how businesses check that those changes reach the people and systems doing the work.

01 / OUR PERSPECTIVE

The details can get lost in a handoff.

For example, an approved contract change may still need to be reflected in a system, passed to an operations team, and checked later. A status marked “complete” tells only part of that story.

Our interest is in the trail from the original decision to the work it affects: what was agreed, who was responsible, and which records can confirm the result.

OUR MISSION Help businesses check whether important decisions have been carried through, and understand what needs attention.

What was agreed?
What changed?
What still needs attention?

02 / WHERE WE FOCUSPROBLEMS WORTH UNDERSTANDING

The operating questions we’re exploring.

We’re focused on three places where teams can lose track of a commitment or a change.

01

Critical handoffs

When work moves between teams or systems, who takes responsibility? We’re exploring ways to keep the decision, its owner, and the next step connected.

FROM DECISION TO DELIVERY
02

Operational continuity

During an acquisition or system change, teams need to know which commitments and records must carry over. We’re interested in how they check that nothing important has been dropped.

THROUGH CHANGE
03

Checking completion

A status update can show that a task was closed. The harder question is whether the underlying change happened, and what evidence supports that conclusion.

CHECKING THE RESULT

Before choosing a solution, we want to understand how often a problem occurs, what it costs the team, and how they handle it today.

OUR GUIDING BELIEF

An answer should come
with something to check.

We want teams to see which records support a conclusion, where those records disagree, and what still needs a person’s judgment.

03 / OUR APPROACHPRACTICAL BY DESIGN

Get close to
the work.

We start by understanding the task as people actually do it, including the workarounds. Then we trace the information, check the result, and decide what is worth changing.

01 / LISTEN

Talk with the people doing it.

Ask where they lose time, what they double-check, and which problems keep their work from moving.

02 / TRACE

Trace one example.

Follow a decision from its source through the teams, records, and systems it touches.

03 / VERIFY

Check what changed.

Compare the expected result with the available records. Keep unresolved questions visible.

04 / IMPROVE

Choose a useful next step.

Consider what the team could change, how it would fit their work, and how they would know whether it helped.

04 / WHO WE ARE

Why we’re building Taldris.

Taldris is an independent company founded by Tyler Tarbet. Our software work focuses on operational intelligence: how a business checks that an approved decision has been put into practice.

We’re developing our direction around operational handoffs, business transitions, and the records people use to check their work. Conversations with operators and business leaders will help us decide where to focus.

06 / START A CONVERSATION

What is hard to check in your business?

We’d like to hear about a handoff, transition, or recurring task that takes more checking than it should.

A specific example helps.

The most useful conversations start with what happened, who was involved, and how the team dealt with it. Please leave confidential details out.
